作者簡介
Dr. Jean Elbaum is the Director of Transitions of Long Island, an interdisciplinary outpatient neuro-rehabilitation program which she has been devoted to since the program's inception in 1988, specializing in individual and family counseling as well as memory rehabilitation. Her clinical experience is with clients with all sub-types of acquired brain injuries. She specializes in educational/vocational re-entry, including reintegration to high level careers. Dr. Elbaum obtained three degrees from New York University: her bachelor's and master's degrees in psychology and her doctorate in rehabilitation counseling. Dr. Elbaum is an adjunct graduate professor at New York University, psychology department and has a faculty appointment at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/ Northwell in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
