作者簡介
Carlos Filipe Portela holds a PhD in Information Systems and Technologies from the University of Minho (UMinho), Portugal. He is an integrated researcher at the ALGORITMI Research Centre and an Invited Assistant Professor in UMinho's Department of Information Systems, where he teaches subjects such as Web Programming and Artificial Intelligence. His expertise encompasses Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Gamification, with practical applications in healthcare, education, smart cities, and industry.
He is the author of one patent and over 200 scientific publications. He has actively contributed to more than 50 scientific organisations, conferences, and workshops, as well as over 25 editorial boards of books and journal special issues. Additionally, he serves as Principal Investigator in multiple national and international R&D projects. Filipe Portela is the founder and CEO of IOTech - Innovation on Technology, a company focused on developing innovative solutions for industries and cities. He is also Vice-President of AEBA - Business Association of Baixo Ave, where he leads initiatives in Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies.
